'Human rights are what make us human. They are the principles by which we create the sacred home for human dignity.'
Project 1210
On December 10, lend your freedom of speech to those who do not have the same rights. We need YOU!
'Human rights for all' or project 1210 is about meshing words and images from the independent community to commemorate the International Human Rights Day.
Why ID?
By participating, you will let ID rally and magnify the power of a collective voice supporting Human Rights Day, while speaking of a personal concern within a global issue. It involves using self-expression in a concerted way on a concerted issue in a concerted time and space.
How to Get Involved
There are three ways to be a part of Project 1210:
1. Dedicate a portion of your website (blog, personal site, etc.) on December 10, 2003 to express your views on a particular issue or perspective relevant to 'Human Rights for ALL'.
2. Submit an essay, a poster or photograph or illustration to be part of the Project 1210 showcase.
Express your views on issues that deal with Human Rights through words, design, photographs, animation, or any other form of creative expression on your blog (turn comments on).
3. By posting the project announcement with link back to Project 1210 page. Invite your network of friends + colleagues to participate too.
