'Human rights for all' project is about meshing words and images from the independent community to commemorate the International Human Rights Day.

Launch: December 10, 2003 - GMT 0

The International Human Rights Day was started in 1997 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and was set aside by the United Nations to increase awareness about human rights abuses around the world.

“Human rights are what make us human. They are the principles by which we create the sacred home for human dignity.”

International Human Rights

On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, an extraodinary document that has been described as the Magna Carta for the world. The Assembly charged member nations to distribute and publicize the Declaration around the globe in efforts to improve human rights and end human abuse.

Article 1 of the Declaration states that "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and shall act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."

A fundamental right that can be taken for granted in free society is freedom of speech. This right is the foundation of ID, as well as of the Internet. Injustice occurs in various forms every day in the world to people (whose voices are silenced) that are not allowed to speak for themselves. Join us!
